Behind-The-Scenes look at Season 3 of The Walking Dead includes a T-Dog sighting! *exhale*

Yes folks, we can all breathe deeply, T-Dog is safe and sound….for now.

The Walking Dead season 3 will be returning to AMC this fall and shooting has begun.  We get to hear from some of the cast regarding the prison which looks to be a darker and much more dreary setting than the farm. The group is getting desperate and seems willing to settle for more bleak of a setting, check out the video below:

Evil Episodes Podcast will return shortly….so much evil to go around! Oh Yes!

Welcome to another update in the never-ending saga of horror podcasting ,

Just wanted to check-in and give a brief update and explanation for those wondering why the podcast has suddenly become unavailable. I made the decision to leave the “business of seriousness” network that was hosting the podcast. If you follow my twitter feeds ( @NoCalMike @EvilEpisodes) than you probably already know the basics of the situation enough to where it doesn’t require a rehashing in this post. If not, go visit the twitter timeline and try to put the pieces together.

I mostly wanted to make sure one thing clear in this post. The podcast will continue. In fact, I have most of the new episode recorded already and am looking to get it posted soon. Before that can happen though, I need to find a new means to get the show hosted, a new feed, etc etc….this of course is not a complicated process in the least, but due to overwhemling support of my decision to leave “business of seriousness” network by listeners, and friends of the show such as Electric Chair , MidnightCorey , & Devour The Podcast (t0 name a few) I have some options to mull over as to how exactly I would like to proceed, and the best part is that none of the options are bad ones!

Thanks to all the readers of the site, listeners of the podcast and friends of the show, new and old, and don’t worry, neither the website nor the podcast are going anywhere!  HOORAY! *evil laugh*

Latest trailer for True Blood season 5 hits the web!

Watching this trailer, one of the things I am looking forward to the most is the vampire hierarchy that is going to be explored.  Personally, that is one of the most interesting aspects of the show that hasn’t got it’s due coverage, hopefully season 5 will give it a lot of coverage and the mythology will be explored more….check out the trailer below:

Evil Episodes 018: The Walking Dead Season 2 Part 2 Take 2

Welcome to the the eighteenth episode of Evil Episodes!

The podcast just got a whole lot more evil as Jamie from Devour the Podcast joins myself and Darrick! The show starts as usual, with a few news items that have dropped in the last couple of weeks. This spawns some nice discussion and mini-rants which listeners are sure to enjoy and form their own opinions on.

Next up we discuss the new SYFY game show Total Blackout, which of course leads to the discussion of many other shows, movies and any other material to do with horror. The show’s featured review as you might have guessed from the title is a big discussion on the second half of the second season of The Walking Dead. The first go at this with another lineup failed due to a technical error on my part, but from the comments sections on just about every episode since, the fans were still wanting the show covered in detail so I decided to make it happen!

The show closes out with a mini-announcement by Darrick regarding his future on the podcast as well as an addition being made to the podcast which will keep this baby running for a long time to come!

FX looking to add one more to the roster of serial killer tv shows….?

With Dexter being such a hit show, it was probably only a matter of time before a similar show or two showed up on a different network. That time may be coming soon.  According to Deadline, FX has put into development a television series based around the novels of Chelsea Cain which center around a female serial killer Gretchen Lowell and the Portland detective she is in love with, Archie Sheridan.

While I can see the similarities a little bit in theme, personally I feel this is easily it’s own story and take on the dynamics of a serial killer, and I am awaiting the series with much anticipation. I might even pick up the first novel Heartsick and see what I am in for in the future….

Evil Episodes 017: Sometimes Dead Is Better!

Welcome back to episode 17 of Evil Episodes!

Darrick is back for the full episode this time around as we open up with a couple news items from the site, as well as a tidbit on an “interesting” casting choice for the second season of American Horror Story. From there I get into some horror games I have been playing recently including a game called Closure that has a free flash version available online right now!

After that we get into this week’s featured review which is a Chiller network original, GHOUL, which was adapted from Brian Keen’s novel about a mysterious creature living underground and keeping a town in fear once people start going missing!

The show closes with the latest edition of Horrorpiece Theater featuring a 1-2 punch of Pet Semetary 1 & 2. The original being an adaption of of the Stephen King novel of the same name. Does the movie hold up? Does the sequel offer a worthy follow-up? Tune in to find out!

Check out the TRUE BLOOD season 5 poster to making waiting suck a bit less….

True Blood’s “off season” campaign has usually been the moniker “Waiting Sucks” and while that is certainly true for fans of the hit HBO series, we are now under a month away from the season 5 premiere. The post for the series has been officially released. It’s pretty inconspicuous, not giving much away, but that has been the trend.  What do you think?

Be sure to tune into HBO on June 10th for the Season 5 Premiere!
