Evil Episodes Podcast: Episode #37 The Walking Dead Season 3

It’s time once again to tune the dial to E-V-I-L!

On this episode, myself and Corey are without Jamie, (Talk to ya soon Maven) however what we aren’t without is rum, and a whole lot of it. Enjoy laughing with us, or at us, as we attempt to get through our opening segment and brief news segment.
Then comes the main event of the episode, an in-depth look at Season 3 of The Walking Dead including the season finale and possible future things to come for the show. This discussion features lots of spoilers including comparing aspects of the show with the comic so be warned! For this segment we welcome in a very special returning guest, New Jersey Nick from The Slashercast! Nick is always a treat to have on the show as he brings his great sense of humor and unabashed opinions and insight on whatever the topic at hand may be. ( In other words, we really need him for an episode of Theater of Evil as well too)!!

TellTale’s 4th Episode of The Walking Dead game titled “Around Every Corner” gets a new trailer….

The first three episodes of the game have been pretty fantastic. The character development that The Walking Dead property is known for definitely has carried over. Each episode has managed to get progressively darker in tone and the chance of survival for Lee, Clementine, and the rest of the group has become increasingly bleak……however that aint nothing compared to what Episode 4 “Around Every Corner” has in store….looks like the group may have to go through their worst experience yet on their adventure to make it to the coast…..watch the trailer below:

Full “Zombies” mode trailer released for Treyarch’s Black Ops 2!!! Oh Yes!!

I often get asked, “Are you really shelling out $60 for another Call of Duty game?” While the wallet has definitely gotten tighter over the years and I have to make my gaming purchases a little more far and few between…there is a reason I will keep snatching up Treyarch’s version of the critically acclaimed series…see below:

Black Ops 2 hits on November 13th!  Pre-order now!

New Walking Dead webisodes are on the way…..will arrive on October 1st!

Once again Greg Nicotero will be handing the directing duties for the new set of Walking Dead webisodes, (a brand new set of four 5 minute episodes) this time to be titled Cold Storage! Here is a synopsis:

Cold Storage tells the story of a young man, Chase (played by Josh Stewart), trying to reach his sister in the early days of the zombie apocalypse. He finds temporary shelter in a storage facility run by a former employee named B.J. (Roebuck); however, things are not what they appear.

First teaser for Zombie-mode in Black Ops II hits the web….

This is what we’ve been waiting for right? Treyarch has included a zombie mode in their last two Call of Duty Games (World at War & Black Ops) and it was confirmed long ago that zombies would be a part of the latest entry, Black Ops 2, as well as expanded zombie gameplay modes including it’s own campaign mode. The only thing that was missing was footage to wet our appetites…..UNTIL NOW!

Rest assured this is only the beginning….stay tuned for more!

Dead Island: Riptide’s trailer explodes onto the internet…

Remember the first trailer for the original Dead Island? Highly emotional stuff…it sparked quite the discussion.  Well, here comes the first trailer for Deep Silver’s follow up Dead Island: Riptide.

Furious monsoon rainstorms have laid waste to the island of Palanai in the Banoi archipelago, waters have risen and caused a flood disaster — because of this and the raging zombie invasion, a rescue mission for the survivors seems to be without prospect of success. All hope seems to have been lost for the surviving humans…

Dead Island:Riptide is planned for a 2013 release!

Three new small bites of the upcoming third season of The Walking Dead hit the web!

Season 3 of The Walking Dead is going to heavily revolve around the new “safehouse” The Prison. In these three short promos for the new season we get a bit of an idea what life is going to be like in that location for Rick, Glen, Maggie, Hershel and the rest of the gang…..

A double-dose of Greg Nicotero from the set of season 3 of The Walking Dead….

The Walking Dead is rapidly readying it’s 3rd season and what would a zombie themed show be without the fantastic living dead makeup effects? Greg Nicotero shares his thoughts on preparing zombies for the upcoming season as well as a tour of some of the zombie head props from the past and future…..check out the video below and the interview after the jump!

Evil Episodes 018: The Walking Dead Season 2 Part 2 Take 2

Welcome to the the eighteenth episode of Evil Episodes!

The podcast just got a whole lot more evil as Jamie from Devour the Podcast joins myself and Darrick! The show starts as usual, with a few news items that have dropped in the last couple of weeks. This spawns some nice discussion and mini-rants which listeners are sure to enjoy and form their own opinions on.

Next up we discuss the new SYFY game show Total Blackout, which of course leads to the discussion of many other shows, movies and any other material to do with horror. The show’s featured review as you might have guessed from the title is a big discussion on the second half of the second season of The Walking Dead. The first go at this with another lineup failed due to a technical error on my part, but from the comments sections on just about every episode since, the fans were still wanting the show covered in detail so I decided to make it happen!

The show closes out with a mini-announcement by Darrick regarding his future on the podcast as well as an addition being made to the podcast which will keep this baby running for a long time to come!
